These terms and conditions govern the use of Australian Translation Services and the purchase of translation and interpretation services through our website or as otherwise specified by the company. By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
- Service Availability: The company provides translation and interpretation services on an "AS IS, AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to ensure availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or be held responsible for any data loss or service interruption.
- Translation Rights and Copyright: By entering into an agreement with the company, the client ensures that the translation assignment will not violate any third-party rights. The client agrees to indemnify and hold the company and the translator harmless from any claims of copyright infringement or intellectual property rights violation arising from the source material or its translation.
- Cancellation and Refunds: All payments are final and non-refundable. Once a translation assignment has been commissioned and started by a translator, requests for cancellation, reduction in scope, or frustration by the client or any third party cannot be accepted. In such cases, the client is responsible for paying the full contract amount, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Refunds may be considered if the client cancels the order before the translator has started the translation/interpretation, and the company reserves the right to determine the amount of refund.
- Delivery: The client must receive the completed work by the specified due date and in the agreed-upon manner. The client or their authorized representative must confirm receipt of the completed work promptly, indicating that it was delivered by the agreed-upon due date. If the client fails to fulfill this obligation and does not raise any concerns regarding the work within 24 hours after the delivery deadline, it will be assumed that the client received the completed work on time and in accordance with the agreement.
- Payment and Charges: Clients are required to pay 100% of the order amount in advance. Upon credit approval, payment terms will be set within seven days from the invoice date.
- Change Requests: Translators will strive to deliver high-quality translated documents. If the client is not satisfied with the work, they may request changes. However, please note that NAATI certified translators will only accept requests that comply with NAATI guidelines. They cannot add or remove information from documents if it violates NAATI guidelines. Such change requests or quality concerns do not entitle the client to cancellation or a refund.
- Additional Work: Any additional work outside the proposed project scope will be quoted and charged separately. The final payment amount may vary if additional components or items are requested.
- Error Claims: Claims for mistakes will be considered invalid if not reported within the time limit for complaints. The client must promptly notify the company of any errors found in the completed work, but no later than 30 days after receiving the work.
- Delays: In the event of an unforeseen delay, the client will be notified as early as possible. Late delivery does not entitle the client to cancel the order. A discount of 10% of the order value will be applied for any late delivery.
